Submissions for the third“International Residential Architecture Conceptual Design Competition” is closed on November 30th , 2022. The competition is hosted by Taiwan Architecture Magazine and Sun-Yuan Architects & Associates wich is affiliated to Taiwan Residential Architecture Award Association. Topic contributor and judge Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten. The total of 274 works from 24 countries has been collected over a period of 5-month submission for chasing the total prize of US$20,000.
The purpose of the competition is to encourage young architectural professions and students to put more focus on the need and development of our living environment. And the new visions and creative design solutions on our residential environment are expected to improve the welfare of human well-beings. “The Multifunctional Sustainable and Healthy Home” is the subject of the competition which is contributed by Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten. Consider social, economic, sustainability, health and phycological aspects. Is it possible to give an answer that works globally? Or the cultural and geographical context important to the solutions of tomorrow?
The works submitted by architectural related professions which was from 24 countries. The review of submissions will be prudentially conducted by two steps. The announcement of shortlists will be at the end of January 2023. The final review will be conducted online at the early of February 2023.
